Software updates enhance the functionality of your watch, offering new features and improvements. We strongly encourage you to install updates as soon as they are available through SuuntoLink. When connecting the Suunto Kailash watch to SuuntoLink, the following areas are covered during the process:
_Software updates are installed to your Kailash watch
_New satellite orbit data is being updated to the watch to optimize GPS reception
_Watch battery is charged
Software updates will not have any impact on your watch settings or 7R statistics on your watch.
To update your Suunto Kailash watch:
1. Install the SuuntoLink on your computer. The installation link for Windows can be found here (requires Internet Explorer 10 or later). The SuuntoLink for Mac can be found here.
2. Connect your Suunto Kailash watch to your computer with the supplied USB cable.
3. Open the SuuntoLink.
4. If an update is available, SuuntoLink notifies you to update the watch.
If you are using the 7R App, we recommend you sync your watch with your mobile device before starting the software update. This will ensure the GPS track is saved on the App.
